The Anglo-Saxons & Beowulf
The Anglo-Saxons can relate to Beowulf in more than enough ways.First in both ways warriors play a big role.And if Beowulf wasn't a warrior I don't know who is .Being that he killed monsters and giants all alone and never gave up made him a warrior.ex.2 Beowulf protected England with all his heart.He was king for fifty winters.He defeated the monsters that threaten his people.ex.3 Beowulf shows respect and loyalty to other leaders,like when he came to Herot. He just didn't go kill Gredal he ask for permission from the leaders over that city before he did anything.These are some way that Beowulf relates to the Anglo-Saxons culture.EVIDENCE:because they know my strength--they saw me come from battles stained in the blood of my enemies, when I destroyed a family of giants,when I endured pain all night,killing water monsters,grinding them to bits,to avenge for the Geatsthose who asked for misery.And now I shall, alone, fight Grendel.
